Legal technology veteran David Lumsden joins Jalubro as Advisor to the Board

Former Tikit, RAVN and Pinnacle CEO joins Jalubro as the established legal technology business accelerates its expansion as a technology provider.

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Jalubro has appointed legal technology veteran David Lumsden as Advisor to the Board, bringing more than three decades of experience building and scaling legal technology businesses as Jalubro enters an exciting growth phase.

Lumsden is one of the UK legal technology sector’s most experienced executives. Previously the CIO of international law firm Ashurst, before spending 13 years as CEO of Tikit Group plc, helping build the legal technology business through a period of significant international growth before its acquisition by BT.

He has subsequently held senior leadership roles across the sector, which includes being appointed as CEO of legal AI pioneer, RAVN Systems, prior to and around its acquisition by iManage. He was also CEO of Enable Business Solutions and Pinnacle. Following Harbor’s acquisition of Pinnacle in 2024, Lumsden joined Harbor’s international leadership team, where he served as Regional Head of Operations and Integration until June 2025.

His appointment comes as Jalubro accelerates its technology business through the launch of its new product, Ephiria. Building on an established global client base of law firms and corporate legal departments, the company is expanding its proprietary technology offering, with the AI governance and enforcement infrastructure, Ephiria, as the core to that strategy.

As law firms and legal teams adopt AI tools such as Harvey, CoCounsel, Legora and Claude, and AI evolves from copilots that assist lawyers to AI agents capable of acting across systems and workflows, organisations face a growing challenge around how that activity is governed and evidenced.

Ephiria provides an independent control layer across that environment. It applies organisational, client and matter-level policy at the point of use and execution, protecting sensitive information before it reaches an AI model through redaction, and governing what AI agents are permitted to do before an action is taken.

Lumsden will advise Jalubro’s leadership on its technology strategy, international growth and the continued scaling of the business.
